New arrivals from Vino50 from our friends at Phelps Creek in Oregon.

Phelps Creek Unoaked Chardonnay 2008, Columbia Gorge, Oregon

A Chardonnay with nothing but pure fruit flavors: fresh with slight herbal notes, green apple, pear and white flowers, clean and crisp with slight malolactic fermentation to add a bit of fullness to the mouthfeel.

Phelps Creek Passito-style Dessert Gewurztraminer 2008, Columbia Gorge, Oregon

Think of it as an Italian-styled dessert wine from Oregon. Late harvested USDA ORGANIC Gewurztraminer grapes dried in small tubs to concentrate flavors–similar to Amarone. Notes of lychee, rose petal and baking spices plus mandarin orange peel. Smooth and luscious.
